Citroën and GQ have teamed up to develop the GQbyCITROËN, a concept car touted as the ultimate gentleman’s drive.

Responding to a brief by GQ’s UK editor, Dylan Jones, Citroën’s team, headed by British designer Mark Lloyd, took a new look at the GT theme and integrated it with a typical Citroën design approach bringing the vehicle from design outline to concept reality.

The concept combines classically sophisticated features and contemporary styling with a sculpted front end, rounded rear, strong body contours and sleek concave rear windscreen, a signature Citroën design.

The car’s spacious, comfortable and futuristic cabin is accessed by rear coach doors, and completing the car’s bespoke styling, the interior detailing and upholstery selections were provided by Patrick Grant from Savile Row tailors E.Tautz.

The GQbyCITROËN features a gas/electric hybrid powertrain, fronted by a 1.6l 4-cylinder direct injection petrol engine. Specs include a 0-100kmh time of 4.5secs and an electronically limited top speed of 155mph.
